The drum is still popular. Most days he beats it for at least a little while. Tonight it was a duet with Daddy. He's getting better at beating softly, but most of the time, he loves to beat loudly.
Last year for his birthday, John got four little pullback cars. He pulled them out tonight and started to play with them, but he didn't get that they moved forward by themselves if pulled back. So Daddy showed him how they worked and let them go. John was pretty impressed. He's still got some practice to make them go really far. (These photos are a bit grainy. I was playing around with a higher ISO and no flash.)
It was another pretty good day. John didn't nap well. He started coughing after he went to sleep last night. It didn't wake him last night, but he coughed quite a bit during his nap today. As a result, he didn't sleep very long (for him) - only two hours. But it didn't seem to phase him much. And we haven't really heard much from him tonight. I did give him some Zyrtec tonight before bed. Everything on earth is still blooming here. Hopefully that helps him some.
