Fair game
It was a good day. JHP went to school. Daddy went to work. Mommy had quiet time alone to do as she pleased. Then John and I went to the grocery store, where he was in such a good mood he sang out from the cart for no apparent reason. I told him he needed to keep it down as folks were likely trying to think and didn't need the distraction. Some lady must have heard me because she stopped us and told John that he was distracting her (with a big smile on her face!). He didn't get it, but I found it sweet that she took the time to humor ME. Dinner was a fine affair and we had plenty of time to play afterward.
One of the things that JHP loves to do if you lay down on the floor is sit/lay on top of you. While this is not the most comfortable for you after you've just eaten, it's most definitely fun times for John. And it doesn't matter if you are on your tummy or not. He'll stop what he's doing to come join you and bounce or wrestle or just lay his head on you. I had been taking pictures lying on my tummy when John realized that I was lying down. I handed the camera over and Daddy took these shots.
John likes to sit on your belly and then lean backwards between your knees, flipping his legs over with the rest of him following. He'll do this several times in a row until the flipper is tired. Tonight I managed to flip him over onto the floor before he leaned back. Oh - and the number stickers were ones we picked up from the little machine at the grocery store today. John wore them for a while and then handed them over to me for safe keeping.
