Purdue's Sweet Sixteen!

John was ready for church, snack in hand.

But we had to wear jackets because although it was sunny, the wind was blowing cold and hard. I did not wear enough coat. That wind went right through my blazer. Brrr!

Since John goes back to school tomorrow, we thought we'd take a picture to show his teachers and his class. Here's the one I'm sending to school tomorrow. He's so proud of his beans! And his picture!

JNP just bought a ticket to go see his Purdue basketball team play Duke on Friday night here in Houston. We couldn't get good seats together so John's going by himself. The men broke into the Sweet Sixteen by beating TX A&M tonight. John figured he couldn't miss it since it was so close. Go Boilermakers! And if by some chance they beat Duke (a #1 seed), he has a ticket for Sunday, too.
