After Daddy and John went to get the mail, John took time to smell the flowers and Daddy opted to pull weeds from the driveway cracks. When John realized what Daddy was doing, he decided on his own to go get his bucket and shovel and help Daddy. He did a good job and didn't get in the way.
We hadn't had a silly hair picture in a while. And since I was washing tonight, I thought we'd style it into a Mohawk. When Daddy came to see it, he decided we needed a picture or two. So he captured this for posterity.
John's continuing to get in trouble at school. He earns himself a time-out at least once for hitting someone and usually another time at lunch for disrupting the table (yelling, spitting, hitting). He does not fear time-out. But he does fear a spanking. Too bad the school does not utilize corporal punishment.
