This flew over the house this morning (three times). It was not alone in it's endeavors. The airshow was this weekend and they did a good job of rattling the windows by buzzing the house. The highlights of the show performed about the time John was going down for a nap. I'm not sure how he managed to sleep through the jets screaming overhead, but he did. His naps ran their normal 3 hours.
After his nap, we went out in the backyard and he made some of his own noise. He had the best time banging on this container. When we finally went inside, he didn't get as much enjoyment out of banging on his drum.
We had to be on the lookout for mosquitoes. We didn't get to one in time and she bit John twice in just about the same place on his forehead. He's pointing it out for you.
I'm not sure what this was about, but cute nonetheless. So serious! We might have been trying to convince him to move on to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Soon after we did go for a walk. We ran into our neighbor who commented on John's drumming. Heck, the whole neighborhood probably heard it, he was beating so loudly.
The time change didn't hurt us much today. John actually slept in until 730a and didn't really seem too concerned about the later bedtime. We'll see how much sleeping in we do tomorrow.
