Gotta get me some Krazy Kolors!
We arrived on Sunday July 17 and managed to get unpacked and fed. It was hot, but mostly dry. We got our tents set up and even made it to the pool that night (I think - it's been so long ago!). Most of our time in Wimberley was spent visiting, applying sun screen, going to the river, going to the pool, and eating. Oh, and holding a family crafting class. I'll talk about that more later.
On Monday it rained. But not quite long enough because when it was over, it was blasted miserable outside. Hot and humid! Finally after dinner, it cooled enough to be bearable. A walk to get some ice cream was on the agenda.
All the kids enjoyed their Krazy Kolors ice cream (Bluebell makes it!). I couldn't eat the stuff. All that bright coloring is a turn off! So I selected something much more normal.
Nana was prepared for the rings around the mouths. She brought some wet wipes so the kids would look presentable on the walk home.
It was a short walk back to the cabin, John and Nana leading the way.
I couldn't resist posting this funny photo of my sister-in-law Jane. She caught me snapping the photo and decided to pose. Funny gal! I love her! So glad she puts up with my brother! He's pretty lucky!
